05/02/2021 - CoU becomes CERIS (Community of European Research and Innovation for Security)The Community of Users on Secure, Safe and Resilient Societies (CoU) gathered actors involved in various security sectors, in particular policy-makers, scientists, practitioners (e.g. first responders), SME/industry and representatives of the civil society. With the eve of Horizon Europe, the new EU framework for research and innovation, the CoU is enlarging its mission to proactively gather research outputs and communicate them from international to local levels, and receive feedback that will be essential for future research working programming. This CoU hence becomes CERIS standing for Community of European Research and Innovation for Security. Details to register will be made publicly available via the CoU website: https://www.securityresearch-cou.eu/home

Through its work the TA6 offers a forum to identify CBRNe defense and security gaps, discuss proposed solutions, set priorities for future EU research and development and share the vision of the European CBRNe community with EU stakeholders and institutions.
